Beijing Auto Show 2008 LIVE: Geely Panda
220408, Beijing Auto Show. Italian motorcompany Fiat has been using the name Panda for decades but a panda is a Chinese bear. The people at Geely thought that was unfair and showed a new car called Panda as well.
It's a small car in the Toyota Aygo categorie, it has the same backside but the nose is very different, black, like a panda indeed. Much more panda than the Fiat Panda, the mirrors look like a panda's little ears.
Geely is using a new badge on the car, but they didn't change their logo, see the wall in the background. Now they have two logo's. Nothing special, BYD did the same before, they used the new logo on their new cars and the old logo on their old cars, at the same time at the same show.
Engines: 1.1 and 1.3, price will be around 5000 dollar.
