Beijing Auto Show 2008 LIVE: A Lonely Ferrari 348 GTS
270408, Beijing Autoshow. I live in China for 5 years now and I don't really care about the Chinese copying everything anymore. I buy copied dvd's, copied t-shirts, copied microwaves and drink copied beer.
After all this time that does not make me angry anymore. Like all people who live here for such a long long time I just laugh about it and go on. That might be bad but sometimes things are as they are.
The same goes when it comes to cars, when Geely makes a Ferrari-like concept I don't really care, or when Great Wall copies a Panda I just wonder whether they will get away with it again, which is usually exactly what happens.
What does piss me off however is how some Chinese treat Europe's finest old cars. I have seen an old Aston Martin painted pink for some promotion for a Chinese magazine, I have seen a beautifull Mercedes 600 used to transport a huge load of
a certain sportsdrink and just when I thought the Chinese didn't do that anymore I saw this Ferrari 348 GTS as the Beijing Autoshow.
It was lonely standing in the middle of some crappy boot outside the main exhibition hall, it did nothing there except looking sad and very dusty. The monsters responsible for this are from a Chinese car-cd-player company which I won't mention but I will never ever buy one of their shitty products.
To give this Ferrari a little honor I decided to bring it to you, even though it doesn't look at it's best:
car, auto, cars, automotive, cheap cars, china, china auto, china statistics, china sex, learning chinese, china consultancy, china automotive, china cars, travel to china, trip to china,
