Beijing Auto Show 2008 LIVE: BYD F3-R Racing
250408, Beijing Autoshow. The BYD F3-R is a hatchback version of the F3 and even though is has some sporty details such as a little roofspoiler it is by no means a sporty or exciting car.
To show how a truly sporty FR-R looks like BYD brought the FR-R Racing to the show, and they tried their very best. It has more spoilers than an F1 and a huge front overhang that will work nicely on Chinese roads.
I guess BYD ran out of conceptcarmoney when somebody said: "He! Women wang nege chun le!" ("Hey! We forgot the wheels!"), because they look far too small. The spoiler on the back is the best part, very high with two separate wings.
BYD stated that although the FR-R Racing won't roll of the line like this some parts will soon be available trough it's dealernetwork.
