Beijing Auto Show 2008 LIVE: Brilliance FRV Sport
230408, Beijing Autoshow. Brilliance wants make fast looking sporty cars and sell them for a prenium. They started with the BS6 which sold well in the beginning but sales went steep down when everybody went for Brilliance's own BS4 which looks much better and isn't much smaller.
Next was the Coupe, a very fine looking thing with Brilliance's own 1.8 Turbo under the bonnet. Brilliance brought two new cars to the Beijing Autoshow, first was the
BS4 Wagon, a car like Alfa's 156 wagon, and this FRV.
Based on the same platform as the BS4 so actually a BS4 hatchback but with enough optical changes to justify it's own name. The car on the pictures is
the Sport which means a lot of extra spoilers, less ground clearance and sportseats.
Engine is again the 1.8T, a bit tweaked to 150 hp. On sale in a few months for around 18.000 dollar.
