Shanghai Auto Show 2009: Dongfeng V07 Mianbaoche is a Cool Military Minivan
210409. A nice surprise at Dongfeng's minivan stand; this new V07 in military uniform. It has a huge bull bar, Hummer-kind of grille, big lights on the roof and some more.
Older Dongfeng minivans such as the K07 were always a bit funny with their ielie-pielie looks and a BMW-kind of grille. Dongfeng decided men would not laugh at its vehicles anymore and came with this much tougher approach.
It is a bit bigger and wider, closer to the road and it has a real nose so some can feel themselves driving a huge torpedo-nosed truck, like on endless highways in the Midwest, or Anhui.
The V07 will be available with a bunch of four-cylinders without too much power, one weak one has only 38.5 kw, that's barely enough to get that bull bar trough the air. The military set will be on offer as a little extra for us men.
